Finishing this book brings me to the place of completing both of the challenges I read it for! I have a had a great time, reading this new genre of fantasy/fairy tales. I am hoping to continue adding this genre into my regular diet of books on a more consistent basis to keep things interesting around here. There are a couple of other books I had on my challenge lists, listed as alternates, which I do think I will definitely read.

Tracy Lynn has a very nice style of writing, and retells the story of Snow White with little twists and turns different from from the original tale, yet staying true to to the original plot. I liked everything about this book--the characters, the setting (1800's London), the more *modern* scientific form of magic even down to the ending, which is happy, but not your typical sugary happily ever after! I am sure that anyone who enjoys the fractured fairy tale genre will enjoy this quick easy little read.
