This week's Weekly Geeks asks us to dig into the archives of fellow geekers and spotlight a post by them!
I tried to find participants who I haven't visited before or not very often in order to expand my source base for even MORE books to put in my tbr pile!! ;)
So, the first person I am spotlighting is Suey from It's All About Books. The post I liked was one she wrote back in September of 2007. She writes about (and posted a picture) about heading up her children's' Scholastic Book Fair. I loved it as it brought back sweet memories of my Sam, (the only one of my 4 to attend public elementary school)-dying for me to come to school to show me the books he had already picked out during his class's turn to come browse.
The second person I am spotlighting is Tanabata from In Spring it is the Dawn. She has a very interesting blog and I enjoyed browsing around it. Her reviews are great and so are her pictures. (I am very visual). The post I am highlighting is of some beautiful chrysanthemums, written in November of 2006.
The third spotlight is on Stephanie from Stephanie's Written Word. Her reviews are always thoughtful and she has a very nice blog. Another reason I am spotlighting her is so others can send her happy thoughts and prayers as she is dealing with breast cancer. (My thoughts are with you Stephanie, even though you have no idea who I am!) I am highlighting a post she wrote back in April of 2007 . It is a lovely book picture from a very pleasant time in her life! What would vacation be without books!
For even more fun spotlights, visit Dewey (the hostess of wg) , Sarah, Kristina, and Maree, each of whom are participating this week.
Wow! Thanks for the spotlight! Cool. I was just thinking I need to figure out soon who my little spotlights will be. :)
