I can't believe it, but it is Friday again and time for some book finds. I had a wonderful time browsing Lesley's Book Nook again and found some, that while they may not be new to me, were brought to the forefront by her post highlighting epistolary stories. Foreign Correspondence is a book I've been thinking about reading for awhile.

I met Geraldine Brooks last winter. She is charming (and I never use that word to describe someone). I didn't know about Foreign Correspondence -- thanks for the tip.

I enjoyed Fair and Tender Ladies but I am a Lee Smith fan. I was also unfamiliar with Foreign Correspondence so thanks so much for posting about it. I also want to read "The Queen.."
