Joy and Failure

This last week is a blur----from last weekend until now.  We spent the weekend with my girlies, as it was baby's 1st birthday. As you can see, I am totally in love with these precious little red heads, and they bring me such pure joy!  That is the joy part of this post--

....The failure part is that I only managed to get one post up for the Knitting & Crochet Week blog event. :(  I had such high hopes, especially since I had missed the 24 hour Read-a Thon last weekend, an event I have never missed. But is just was not meant to be--I really should have put together posts ahead of time, but work has still been so very hectic and stressful, that I come home exhausted--barely able to watch a little tv and knit a few stitches. Blog time just could just not be faced.  So, I hope to visit some of my blog friends and read their delightful offerings for the week, and hope for better next year!  I am planning a Year of Projects post this Sunday, after missing the past couple of weeks....

But first? We are heading back to the other side of the mountains, where Sam will be playing bari sax in the State solo & ensemble contest.  Then we will drive a little further and spend the rest of Saturday and Sunday with the girls again!  A fun weekend is to be had, and dear husband is trying to shoo me out the door to the car right now!
  Until later...

  3. Your little redheads are so beautiful! I love their natural beauty.
Don't feel bad; I pooped out after a bit too. I should have prepped ahead of time too.
