I have books.
Lots and lots of books.
Shelves full. I do go through them occasionally and weed out the ones I don't think I will be reading, you know, due to changing tastes and stuff. While I was sorting through shelves recently, I realized that I have a little collection of knitting books going! How lovely is that? Books and knitting, my two favorite things. Oh,and when I say books, I mean the kind that are not of the knitting patterns sort.
Of the eight shown below, two are essays collections. The fun thing is that the Yarn Harlot: Secret Life of a Knitter is on my Kindle!
If you want to check out these titles further, here are the links...
- Friday Night Knitting Club
- Knit Two
- Knit the Season
- Knitting: a novel
- Spinning Forward
- The Beach Street Knitting Society and Yarn Club
- Two Sweaters For My Father
- Yarn Harlot: The Secret Life of Knitter

There are several more titles I have discovered while poking around Amazon, but for now I best not be buying any more books! The question I have for you is, "Do you have knitting books that you enjoy or have laying on your shelves waiting to be read?? What are they?
Happy Friday

Your reading list always looks so interesting, I have no books about knitting apart from pattern ones, and although I always see others reviews of books and think, that sounds good, I may get it, I never do......I am pretty poor at reading as my mind is off on other things and I realise I've read four pages and I don't remember anything about them! One day I will read and enjoy something and then I will review it!
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to read "Divas don't knit" :)
ReplyDeleteI've read most of those. I put Anne Bartlett's & Spinning Forward on my to-read list on Goodreads. I liked the Friday Night Knitting Club and the Beach Street ones for sure.
