This week is all off kilter what with the 4th of July happening in the middle of the week. We were out of town for a couple of days, visiting our daughter and her little family. Our time with them was so much fun--it was hard to come home and then face going back to work today when I normally have my Fridays off!
In book news: I finished What Alice Forgot, and hope to write a quick little review this weekend. I am now reading Half Broke Horses (for a new book club at work, and The Matchmaker of Perigord.
In knitting news, I have made great progress on my baby owlie sleep sack and also finished dishcloth #4 for my dishcloth swap in August. Oh, and I joined the Ravellenic Games over on Ravelry! More about all that on Sunday....
Fourth of July, we all took the girls to their first firework show--wonder and amazement abounded ---
(Warning: lots of gratuitous Mimi pictures follow!)
I hope you all had a safe holiday and as much fun as I did!
*smiles*
